@the By far the best discovery was getting to know people in the area. Two of the three times I've been to Newfoundland (for both work and play) were deep experiences in terms of getting to know people and their stories.
I haven't explored as widely as I would have liked, but some of my favorite places include The Rooms, Cape Spear, Bay Roberts, and Carbonear. Also definitely Mallard Cottage.
