@pimoore It depends. Many of the articles I see posted to Facebook are quite good. I have ~3500 friends, most of them in the arts community. Many of my blog posts have previously got decent traction through Facebook. I’m wondering if Micro.blog will be one of the blocked sites, or if it might count as just another social media network since it’s technically federated with Mastodon. If it’s not blocked, Micro might become a viable place for long-form writing linkable from Canadian FB - I’ll try a few longer articles here and see if they post.
Mind you, this is an issue in Canada only. I believe Australia might have a similar policy.
